Every Month, Newark City Schools honors 30 students in grades 4 through 12 from across the district as Citizens of the Month, for their leadership and actions inside and outside of the classroom. Students and their families are invited to a lunch in their honor to celebrate their achievements. The May Citizen of the Month luncheon was sponsored by Marathon. It's time to register for our 2024 summer camps. Please click each link below for more information. All registrations can be filled out online except for Guitar Camp, which must be turned into your child's school. All grades listed as a student's grade entering next fall.

If you have an incoming kindergarten student this fall, you can now register them for Newark City Schools' annual Kindergarten Readiness Academy.
